About the Course
The JCD(PG) College of Education had introduced this new course leading to two year degree in Special Education (ID). Syllabus is framed as per regulation by RCI / CDLU.
Admission Procedure
Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination
Preamble B.Ed. Special Education (ID), is a professional course that prepares special teachers for children with special needs in special schools, SSA, resource teacher as well as for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII), secondary (classes IX-X) and senior secondary (classes XI-XII) levels of special children.

Duration and working day
Duration B.Ed. Special Education (ID) programme shall be of duration of two academic year
Working Days: There shall be at least two hundred working days each year exclusive of the period of examination and admission, out of which at least forty days shall be for practice teaching or skill development in nearby schools. (b) The institution shall work for a minimum of thirty six hours in a week (five or six days), during which physical presence in the institution of all the teachers and student teachers is necessary to ensure their availability for individual advice, guidance, dialogues and consultation as and when needed.
SCHOLARSHIPS: Eligibility/requirement for each scholarship:-
- Merit Scholarship: For Top position in college out of top ten university position holder in every semester
- Ch. Devilal poor Boy scholarship: For only one boy who is economically weak.
- Mata Harki Devi poor girl scholarship: For only one girl who is economically weak

50% in Graduation for General Category
47.5% in Graduation for SC/ST
