CULTURAL AND LITERARY ACTIVITIES

 

Farewell party for senior students organized by first year students

 On dated 24thMay, 2017, the students of the second year were given a farewell party by organizing a cultural program by their juniors. The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest and other guests by lighting the lamp before Maa Saraswati. On this occasion, the students presented an amazing cultural program, in which they presented various items like Giddha, Bhangra, Haryanavi, Rajasthani and Western dances.

Special Lecture cum Demonstration on National Yoga Day

 Yoga enthusiasts came together to observe International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2017 in JCDV. On this occasion, a One Day National Seminar on ‘Yoga for Harmony & Peace’ was organized. Yoga experts, Mr. Manoj Godara and Mr.  Ramesh Kumar shared their valuable yoga knowledge with students and faculty members of JCDV. Dr. R. R. Malik, Academic Director of the JCD Vidyapeeth, had also stressed on the importance of health and values.

Teachers day Celebrations

 On the occasion of Teacher’s day 5th September 2017, a cultural program was organized by students of all constituent colleges of JCDV at B.Ed. Auditorium. The program was started with lamp lighting which was followed by Dr. Jai Parkash speech on the role of teachers in our society.  All other guests also shared their views and experiences on the present scenario of role of teachers and students for making better education system.  The students showed their talent by presenting a colourful cultural event.

Organization of three-day Talent Hunt Auditions at JCDV 

On dated 13th to 15th September, 2017, JCDV organized a three-day Talent Hunt Auditions for the students of its constituent colleges. Various competitions like solo dance, group dance, solo singing, group song, painting, cartoon making, poster making, rangoli, clay modeling, speech, poem recitation, one act play, skit, play, mime, mimicry, mono-acting, choreography, debate and anchoring were organized. The students participated in these events with great enthusiasm and showed their talent which impressed the audience as well as judges.

Organisation of Mehndi competition

 Women Cell of the college organized an inter-college mehndi competition on 7th October, 2017 on the eve of Karwachauth. As many as 30 students from the constituent colleges of JCDV participated with great enthusiasm in addition to that faculty members also took part in this competition. The chief guest of the event was Dr. Jai Parkash, Principal and Dr. Deepti Pandita, Chief Coordinator, CWC, JCDV.

Diya, Thali Decoration and Rangoli Competition

 On 14th October, 2017, Diya, Thali decoration & Rangoli making competitions were organized by the JCD (P.G.) College of Education to celebrate the ongoing festival season wherein the students participated with full enthusiasm. Gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest, Dr.Jai Parkash, Principal expressed happiness that students are always keen to display a good knowledge of our rich cultural heritage.

Extension lecture on traffic rules under ‘Road Safety Mission’

On dated 24th October, 2017, a special lecture was organized on ‘Road Safety’ for providing information about traffic rules to students, staff and others. Sh. Saurabh Rohilla, In-charge of traffic police, Sirsa, was the main speaker. On this occasion, Mr. Ajit Singh, Mr. Harpal Singh, Mr. Pramod Kumar and Mr. Shyam Sunder of Police Department also provided the information  on traffic rules to the audience.

Hawan Ceremony

 Following the tradition of the college, a hawan ceremony was organized on 26th October, 2017 on the commencement of new session 2017-2018 of B.Ed. (General) and B.Ed. (Special). The prayers were offered by the entire guest, staff members and the students for the bright future of students in the coming session 2017-2018.

Participation in University Youth Festival & Won Trophy in Fine Arts & Literary Events 

University Youth Festival was organized by Ch. Devi Lal University, Sirsa from 2nd to 7th Nov 2017. The students of our college part participated in 13 cultural events and all the fine arts and literary events.  They secured many positions in cultural as well as fine arts and literary events. Student Komal secured second position in the Rangoli competition of fine arts and literary university youth festival. In Clay Modeling, the student, Snehpal was second and the college team earned second position in the installation competition in University Youth Festival of Ch.Devi Lal University Sirsa. The college won Running Trophy in Fine arts and literary events. The winners were honoured.

Road Safety Quiz Competition

 On dated 8th November, 2017, Intra-college quiz competition was organized in the college on road safety under the guidance of Traffic Police, Sirsa. The aim of the quiz was to spread awareness about the road safety among youth. Twenty five teams participated in this quiz and each team comprised of three members. The team of Mr. Ravi Kant, Mr. Vidhadhar and Ms.Sinnu Mittal got the first position.

Fresher Party

A fresher party was organized by B.Ed. & M.Ed. 2nd Year students for their juniors on 11th November, 2017 at B.Ed. auditorium. The chief guests on this occasion were Er. Aakash Chawla, Management coordinator and Dr. R.R Malik, Director Academics. The event was also graced by other guests Mr. Sandanshu Gupta, Registrar and Principals of other Colleges. The students presented a very colorful program and welcomed the new comer students. Ms. Preeti Hooda and Mr. Surender were selected as Miss and Mr. Fresher, M.Ed. respectively. Ms. Laxmi and Mr. Mandeep were judged as Miss and Mr. Fresher, B.Ed. respectively.

Essay Writing, Poster Making, Slogan Writing and Rangoli Making Competition

On the occasion of National Voters Day, various competitions viz. essay writing, poster making, slogan writing and rangoli making competition on the topic of Inclusive and Qualitative Participation in Democracy were held in the seminar hall of C. V. Raman Bhawan, CDLU, Sirsa on 16th November, 2017. Our two students, Komal Rani and Priyanka participated in this competition. Komal Rani secured second position in rangoli making competition and now she will participated at State Level competition on dated 25th January 2018 to be held at Chandigarh.

One week First-aid and Home Nursing Training

College Youth Red Cross Unit in association with District Red Cross Society, Sirsa organized one week First-aid and Home Nursing Training from 22nd November, 2017 to 28th November, 2017 in college auditorium. Mr. Gurmeet Singh Saini provided valuable knowledge about first-aid. While giving information on this occasion, Mrs. Vinod Kumari taught various techniques to handle the causalities. The students as well as teachers learnt many ways of first aid and home nursing in this training.

Awareness rally on World AIDS Day

An Awareness Rally was organized by Red Ribbon Club of 1st December, 2017, World AIDS Day, in which a large number of students took part. The chief guests on this occasion were Er. Aakash Chawla, Management coordinator and Dr. R.R Malik, Director Academics; the other guests were Mr. Sandanshu Gupta, Registrar and Principals of other Colleges. The rally was flagged off by the chief guest. The students held placards and banners showing slogans about awareness against AIDS.

ORGANIZATION OF FIRST NSS CAMP

Inauguration of 7 days special (Day & Night) NSS Camp

Marching towards the new achievements, the college has started National Service Scheme (NSS) unit. In this direction, a seven-day regular day & night  camp was organized on 25-12-2017 to 31-12-2017 at the premises of Govt. Senior Secondary School, Nezadela Kalan, Sirsa. During this camp, the NSS volunteers performed various activities related to environment protection, health and sanitation in the campus. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr Dilbag Singh Director Students Welfare and Chairperson Department of Computer Science CDLU, Sirsa as a Chief guest ,  Er. Aakash Chawla, Management coordinator and Dr. R.R Malik, Director Academics along with Dr. Jai Parkash, Principal were also present .

As the Chief Guest, Dr. Dilbagh Singh, Director, Student Welfare and Director of Computer Science and Engineering, Ch. Devi Lal University, Sirsa was invited as a Guest and as a special guest Dr. RR Malik  Director Academics  JCD Vidyapeeth  Sirsa attended and Dr. Jai Prakash  Principal of Education College presided over this program.

This program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp in front of Saraswati. Dr. Jai Prakash welcomed the guests and told in detail the main objective of this camp i. e EACH-2018  . On this occasion, Dr. Dilbagh Singh, Chief guest of the program inspired the students and said that the maximum number of our country is of the youth and therefore the students of the schools and  colleges have different functions of social interest and they  come forward so that we can make our country a world guru. He said that there are all the things in Indian culture that can make India a world guru . Dr. Malik motivated the students and made them aware about the importance of National Service Scheme and the duties of NSS volunteers. He told the NSS volunteers that we respect our elders, in the service of the community in our society as well as in the service of our families. and give your contribution for society . He said that the Government has made it necessary for the students in the field of technology that when each student gets a technical degree, when the student will get the certificate of NSS, in this program NSS program officer of JCD PG College of Education , Dr. Satnarain Chillar  has explained  the Details of the objectives and activities to be held in this 7 day and night special camp.

Valedictory Ceremony   Of 7 Days Special (Day & Night) NSS Camp

 On the occassion  of completion of the 7-day special camp, an valedictory ceremony   was organised 0n 31st December , 2017 in the JCD College of Education, Sirsa  . In this valedictory programme  Dr. Vishnu Bhagwan NSS Coordinator CDLU,Sirsa  was the Chief and as a Special Guests were Mr.  Sudhanshu Gupta Registrar, JCD Vidyapeeth and Buta Singh,  representative of Sarpanch  Village Neza Delan Kalan and this program was presided by Principal Dr. Jai Parkash . The chief guest and other guests were welcomed by the NSS Programme officer Dr. Satnarain Associate Professor JCD College of Education . The prograame was started by tree plantation   In his address as the Chief Guest Dr. Vishnu Bhagwan said that  human service is the biggest service, good ideology leads the society towards the path of progress, along with it also gave information about a healthy environment and said that clean environment is essential for healthy  life and praised the work done by the NSS volunteers  Dr. Vishnu Bhagwan  gave a message to the students through a poem Marichika that  human service is the  ultimate service  .

After this, Mr. Buta Singh, the Sarpanch representative of Neja Della Kalan  village told  that  special students were identified in the village and they spreading awareness in the village  and also educated twenty elderly people of the village. After this, Shri Ashok Kumar thanked the management of JCDVon behalf of the school Principal  and he told that through this camp  cleanliness of the school campus was done  . After this, Principal Dr. Jai Parkash  told that our college gives highest contribbuion in any program. He said that in the last few days, in the University Youth Festival at Ch. Devi Lal University , Sirsa our college had won the literary trophy by winning more and more prizes . He praised the NSS volunteers  for their hard and sincere work . At the end of the program, everyone were thanked by NSS officer , who said that he would continue to participate in the program related to the interests of  society. At the end of the program, Principal Dr. Jai parkash gives the  memento to the Chief Guest and other guests

National Youth Day Celebration

On dated 12th January, 2018  National Youth Day is celebrated throughout India on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand. On this occasion, a seminar was organised by our college which is sponsored by Dainik Jagaran newspaper. The theme of the seminar was ‘Society, Development and Youth’. The chief guest of this seminar was Dr. R.R.Malik, Academics Director, JCDV and presided over by Dr. Jai Parkash, Principal. The speakers were Ms. Geeta Kathuria, Ms. Kavita Sharma and Dr. Pardeep Snehi. They all shared their valuable and motivating thoughts with the audience. The principals and staff members of other consituent colleges of JCDV were also present.

Organization of District Level Quiz Compaction

On dated 16th January, 2018 a district level quiz compaction was organize by Haryana Police Department in our college. The quiz compaction was based on ‘Traffic Rules and Road Safety’. In this quiz, teams of 91 schools and 11 colleges took part and they were categorized into four levels. A written test was conducted prior to the quiz and 4 teams were selected from each category for the quiz. The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, D.S.P, Sirsa and the Guest of Honor was Er. Aksah Chawla, Management Coordinator, JCDV, Sirsa. The winners were awarded by the chief guest.  Dr. Jai Parkash, Principal, JCD College of Education, Sirsa, invited the guests in his welcome speech and told that the road safety rules should be followed by heart but not under the fear of laws. Mr. Anil Kumar, S.H.O, Mr. Raj Kumar, A.S.I, Traffic Police, Sirsa, Mr. Raj Kumar, A.S.I. Kalanwali, Mr. Saurabh Rohilla, R.S.O. and Mr. Shashi Kant, R.S.O. gave their valuable contributions for conducting this event.

Visit to Vita Milk Plant

The Science club of our college had organized an educational visit to Vita Milk Plant, Sirsa on 31/01/2018. A Group of about 40 students of B.Ed 1st year accompanied by Ms. Pushpa Devi, A.P and Ms. Nisha, A.P visited the plant. The students get valuable knowledge on the working of machines and process of production of various products of Vita. They also interacted with the officials of Vita plant and quenched their queries.

Visit to Neki Ki Diwar and Paryash Institute

Students of Special B.Ed course has visited in various institute such as Disha Institute ,Paryash Institute and Neki Ki Diwar

Garland Making Competition

The women cell of our college organised an inter college Garland Making competition on 9th Feb 2018. The students from all constituent colleges of JCD Vidyapeeth took part in this event and displayed their talent. The chief guest of this event was Dr. Jai Parkash, Principal, JCD College of Education. He admired the creativity of the participants and addressed them by saying that creativity is the need of hour to get success in life. The event was also graced by Dr. Deepti Pandita, Chief Coordinator, Central Women Cell.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN DAY

Sirsa 8 March, 2018: On the occasion of Internationa Women Day a seminar was organized by JCD College of Education under the aegis of Dainik Jagran Group and Central Women cell JCDV.The program was presided over by Dr. Jai Parkash and Mr. sudhir Arya Chief Buero Dainik Jagran , Sirsa . As a keynote speaker in this seminar, Dr. Shil Kaushik, the best female architect of Haryana, Smt. Krishna Yadav from Haryana Police and retired Principal of the Education Department, Smt. Urmil Monga expressed  their thoughts, Firstly Dr. Dipti Pandita, In-charge of JCD Vidyapeeth Central women cell, welcomed the chief guest  and other dignitries  in this program and in her welcome address she said  that our aim is to empower women and inform the students of JCD Vidyapeeth about various health related information. She said that by organizing  such programs, the girl students have to provide a platform,  so that they do not have any problem in redressing many of the tenants who are in their minds.  Mrs. Anita Snehi  dedicated song for women

On this occasion, Dr. Shil Kaushik, Chief Speaker, while expressing gratitude to the organizers of this event said that it is essential for women to be aware of the right to equality  and women always remember their honor and sacraments, keep them in mind, they get success. She said that the empowerment of women is actually that they should act according to their wishes and identify their abilities and utilize them.

On this occasion, Mrs. Krishna Yadav while presenting her address to all the students  she urges for regarding their  rights and she  said that today women feel insecure everywhere, even if they are victims of domestic violence. . She said that women are not responsible for not only one family but two families, therefore they need to be strong and they do not consider themselves as weak in any field and compete with the wrongdoers. If women learn to self-defend themselves then incurred events can be curbed.

In her address, Mrs. Urmil Monga said that education is an important weapon through which women  will be able to fight the challenges faced by the society. She  said that when women become educated and become self-reliant then only the slogan of empowerment will be fulfilled. Mrs Monga said that with the help of education, women are now recognizing their rights and powers by reaching higher positions and making others aware.

On this occasion, Dr. Jai Prakash , while expressing gratitude to the guests and speakers and others who came in this programme , said that women should never be disappointed with life and should stand together against injustice, he said that the present age is an age of equality and in which both men and women go together on their shoulders.

In  International Women’s day, many thoughts were expressed by the students and through the poems, the pain and current situation of the daughter were described. On this occasion, many girls shared their feelings and experience . At the end of the program,  mementos were given to the chief speakers

A TWO DAYS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

On Recent Researches & Innovations in Sciences, Management, Education & Technology

 On 27th-28th March 2018, JCD College of Education had organised 2nd Two Days International Conference on Recent Researches & Innovations in Sciences, Management, Education & Technology which was sponsored by Conference World, AR publications, New Delhi. A total of 150 delegates from various parts of India and abroad took part in this event. During inaugural session, the Chief Guest and keynote speaker was Dr. R.K. Kohli, Vice Chancellor, Central University, Bathinda. Dr. Abubakar Mohammad, Astt. Prof., Modibo Adama university of Technology, Yola, Nigeria also delivered his lecture. This session was graced by Er. Akash Chawala, Management Director; Dr. R.R. Malik, Academic Director; Dr. Jai Parkash, Principal and all other principals of constituent colleges of JCDV.

Firstly Dr. Jai Parkash Principal and convener of this International Conference Welcomed all the guest and then Dr. R. R. Malik Director Academics JCDV, has given the brief Introduction of the Chief Guest . Prof. (Dr.) RK Kohli, in his address said that in order to promote the economy of any country and to improve the quality of life of the people, the latest knowledge, technology, science and  Engineering  are essential fundamental objects. In the absence of science and technology, one country lags behind. Development, whether it is of a country or a person, it is associated with the proper growth and development of the techniques in many ways. We can say that there is a common partnership between each other in technical, science and development. Development in the field of science and technology is very important for people of any country to run side by side with the people of other countries. Developing countries like India today need basic research. Geographically today, India is surrounded by sea all over, whereas on the one hand the young mountain like the Himalayas, despite having such a natural estates, India is in the category of developing countries, because the research sector in India is not given as much attention as the developed of America I. Dr. Kohli urged to insist on the renewal energy.

Dr.  Abubakar Mohammad  Assistant Professor in Department of  Information and Technology  Adam University of Technology, Yola,  Nigeria as the keynote speaker said that the development of science and technology depends on the analysis of the facts and the proper understanding. The development of technology depends on the methods of application of various scientific knowledge in the right direction. Prof. Mohammed said that our future progress will depend on the efficiency of efficient processes for industrial sector and development of better solutions of governance by maximizing innovation. It is necessary to include the spirit of innovation to all sectors like trade, government, education and society. Indian innovation strategy should focus on the origins of ideas that promote inclusive growth and benefit people at the bottom of the socio-economic space. There were four technical sessions and 1st technical session Chaired by Dr. Nivedita In charge Department of Education, Sirsa and Dr. Meena A.P. Department of Education, Sirsa  . Second technical session chaired by Dr.  Abubakar Mohammad  assistant Professor in Department of  Information and Technology  Adam University of Technology, Yola,  Nigeria and third technical session chaired by Dr. D.P.warne Associate Professor  Department of Commerce CDLU, Sirsa and forth Technical session was chaired by Dr. Harish MUdgil  A.P. Department of Chemistry CDLU,Sirsa . Delegates  from Nigeria at this International Conference Salahuddin Ahmad and Mohammad Abba Alkali presented their research papers.

During technical sessions, delegates presented their papers based on the theme of the conference. On 2nd day Dr. Washim Ahmad A.P. In Govt College of Rehabilitation, Chandigarh was the resource person and delivered lecture on Special Education . He said that according to the Act of 1995, the disability were of 7 types which would now be increased to 21 in Disability Act 2016 . He called upon the students to connects with the disabled students and  help them  , so that they can get better results according to their rights. Prof. Dilbag Singh, Dean Student Welfare, CDLU, Sirsa was Chief Guest of the valedictory session.

As a Chief guest in his address he said that our country is still very backward in the field of technology, education and manager, he requested researchers that the quality of work in the research work is very compulsory and said that today’s era is a technological age, special promotion should be given in technology and it can be possible only when we do technical research. The researchers approach should be positive . There are many challenges in the field of research, but the researcher should face these challenges. He congratulated the organizers for the successful organizing of this two-day International Conference Best paper presenters were honored by the dignitaries. Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Professor and Organizing  Secretary of the International Conference, thanked  all the guests . On this occasion, Principal from all constituent colleges  and Registrar , Sh.  Sudhanshu Gupta and  Dr. Atul Kumar Sharma, CEO Conference World and Dr. Resham Gupta , Electronics Department of KGIST Ghaziabad were also present.
